Powerhouse Community Center Wedding
It could not have been a better day for Jennie and Christina’s Powerhouse Community Center Wedding. The weather forecast predicted rain right around the time of their ceremony, but we did not get any rain. What we got instead was a day with beautiful soft clouds in the sky that provided for a very soft light that was perfect for portraits. The light just kept getting better throughout the day so I took portraits of them at three different times in the day.
Besides the beautiful weather, the other reason to keep photographing Jennie and Christina is because they were so fun to work with. They looked amazing in their wedding outfits and I loved seeing how cute they were together. It made taking photos of them super easy. I also loved photographing all of their details. From their outfits and accessories to their matching “Mutual Weirdness” tattoos, there were lots of little details to capture.
There were a lot of fantastic moments throughout their day. But for me, the best one was the first look. Christina’s reaction to seeing Jennie in her wedding dress was priceless. Emotion filled her body and she went weak at the knees. It was a beautiful moment to be there for. Love wins!!
It’s good to have a great planner in charge of your wedding day, especially on days with unpredictable weather. With Amy from Amy June Weddings and Events in charge of their day, it made for a stress-free day.
