Junipero Serra Museum Wedding
I looked forward to Erin and Jeff’s Junipero Serra Museum Wedding for a long time. I met the super cool couple almost a year and a half before their wedding and they put together an awesome team together for their big day. I knew it would be a fun day and that everything would look amazing.
We started the day with getting ready photos at Hacienda Hotel in Old Town. I love the white walls of this hotel and how the light just bounces all over its courtyards. I also like how moody the light feels in the hotel rooms. It’s perfect for some dramatic light during the prep photos.
Erin and Jeff both picked out some very classic looks for their wedding day outfits. Jeff went with a stylish black and white pattern. Erin picked out a backless dress that she accessorized with a back necklace that looked amazing on her. I think Jeff thought so too because his mouth dropped during the first look.
After the first look, we headed up to Juniper Serra Museum for their ceremony and reception. The classic Spanish architecture of the museum is a great backdrop for a celebration and also has a great view of Mission Bay. The Sitting on top of the hill, the open courtyard also feels very private, even though the walkway is just a few hundred feet to the street.
It was a beautiful wedding that made it way too easy to get pretty photos. A good looking couple getting married at a classic wedding venue decorated with vintage furniture and lots of flowers. On top of that a wedding vendor team there that made sure every detail was perfectly in place and that everything ran on time. My job was made really easy.
What made my job even easier was feeling like Jeff and Erin completely trusted me in the photo process. They were so easy to work with during the planning and day of their wedding. I can always feel when a couple knows that I am there so that they don’t have to worry about photos and we always get the best photos when they are relaxed and enjoying their wedding day. It was such a fun day and I am happy that I got to be there for their big day.
