Wedding Proposal Photography

Isn’t it great to be a part of a nice surprise? My favorite type of surprise to be a part of wedding proposal photography. It’s always exciting to be a part of the planning and to be there to capture the special moments.

For this proposal, I worked with Amy from First Comes Love Weddings and Events and Thomas from Thomas Giglio Events and Wedding Production. The plan was to have Thomas out on the rocks playing his guitar, just like he is out there playing for fun, and for me to be photographing my assistant. It’s so hard to hide in wide open spaces so we have to get creative when hiding in plain sight. When the couple arrived David lead Wendy right over by Thomas so they could hear the music. They took in the views of the splashing waves on the rocks and then David got down on one knee and asked the big question. From the distance that I was standing it was hard to hear if she said yes, but the reaction more than confirmed it.

It was a beautiful day for a beach wedding proposal.
